Hi! I am a college student currently living in the United States majoring in history and philosophy with a minor in pre-law. I am 18 years old and go by the name noodles online. I created this blog as a way for me to get my thoughts out. I will try to update weekly. I am not great at formatting a website but this is just for fun so it is okay!

The Problem With Video Essays

Video essays are essentially what the title says they are. Spoken essays that are uploaded to YouTube in video format. However a lot of video essays end up not actually being essays but timelines or a random bundle of information instead. For a video essay to be a successful essay it needs to analyze, explain, and consider other factors. For a video essay to be good it needs to at least explain the history of something, analyze the past and present of something, explain the who, what, why, when, where, and how at some point, and give just enough information to cover the topic but not add unnecessary details.
